Gentarasa 2007 Audition

Gentarasa 2007 Audition The anxious participants thronged the CC by 1.30pm staring surprisingly at the numbers of persons judging their performances. They filled up their particulars outside the hall and came into the studio by 2pm.

Gentarasa 2007 Audition The participants were given a brief description of what Gentarasa 2007 was all about and what criteria we were looking for during this audition.

Gentarasa 2007 Audition Ali of Anggrik Promotions, telling the participants that they were there not to perform magic tricks and showed them that he can make his palm disappear by magic. You can also see the seated judges praying hard that Ali will not do any other tricks.

Gentarasa 2007 Audition These are guest judges from Anggrik Performance Arts, the sub-committe of Ci Yuan CC MAEC.

Gentarasa 2007 Audition Look at the number of judges! Each one of them is looking for a particular skill for Gentarasa 2007. The participants shall be judged on these skills -- Singing, Dancing, Acting, Vocalising, Silat (Martial Arts), Stage Presence ... etc.

Gentarasa 2007 Audition Who would not be nervous in front of them??? Participants were given a script to read in front of the judges. You know what? There were so many Japanese words!!! I was surprised that they can read Japanese and even sounded like Japanese!

The Emptiness Within Me.

It's the second day of the Hijrah. I'm feeling down and very tired. Wanted to go to the office to tidy-up on things but just could not leave the house. I'm missing my special someone, actually.

This verse kept replaying on my head. The last time I actually overheard someone quoting this was on television two days ago and it got stuck in my empty skull eversince.

Hmmm .... I need to read the Quran more often!

Surah Al-Ma'un.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

[1] Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)?

[2] Then such as the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness),

[3] And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.

[4] So woe to the worshippers

[5] Who are neglectful of their Prayers,

[6] Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),

[7] But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.

~ Al-Quran : Al-Ma'un

Ma'al Hijrah 1428!

I love you, my Sayang Manja! It's the last day of the Muslim year and by Maghrib it shall be the year 1428 Hijrah.

I'm missing my Sayang Manja who is on her way home from the seminar.

Have a safe journey, sayang! The valentine above was a gift from you and now I'm using it to express my feelings for you.

May Allah Bless My Sayang Manja. Ameen!

To all the Muslims in this world, I wish them the following --

Ma'al Hijrah!

May Allah provide us

with abundance of

Iman, Taqwa and Ihsan

and may our actions lead us

to the sought-after Jannah

in the Hereafter!

Ameen. Ya Rabbal 'Aalameen.

All Your Blog Are Belong To Us.

The text is taken from the opening cut scene of the English version of the 1989 Japanese video game Zero Wing by Toaplan. The phrase first made its appearance on the Internet in 1998 when an animated GIF of the opening scene to the game was posted. While the translation was generally poor, this phrase stood out as particularly humorous. The phrase slowly began to circulate over many webforums, and by mid-to-late 2000 many images were digitally altered so that the phrase was added in, either obviously or discreetly, especially after the Something Awful Forums got involved. Some of these images were compiled with those created and posted to a forum thread on TribalWar.com by their members. In 2000, Jared and Canadian Gabber group The Laziest Men on Mars created the song "Invasion of the Gabber Robots" using samples from the game theme by Tatsuya Uemura (including a robotic voice synthesis rendition of the complete cut-scene dialogue, which caused MP3.com to temporarily remove the track from their servers for perceived copyright violation).

By the second half of February 2001 a huge number of altered pictures, GIF animations, and Macromedia Flash animations (in addition to photos of actual sightings) swept over the Internet, the first being the twelfth episode of Eskimo Bob. Just days later, a Tribalwar forum member, known only as "Bad_CRC", created the Flash animation that was widely downloaded and later featured on various online and televised news outlets.

The well-known quotations were taken from the European localization of the Sega Mega Drive port released in 1992. The arcade version of Zero Wing does not include the quotation, though it does include an equally butchered ending; the intro for the PC Engine version has CD-quality spoken dialogue but has a completely different introduction. Zero Wing was never released in North America and therefore never came to the Sega Genesis, the North American version of the Mega Drive.

The quotation demonstrated the Internet's power to spread idiosyncratic messages rapidly that would never have been covered by the traditional mass media. Although the fad has subsided, the phrase remains one of the most quoted examples of "Engrish." The phrase is also often used as a battle cry on many competitive video games, particularly those played over the Internet. Guild Wars has even made it a skill for the warrior class, where the character shouts "For Great Justice!" (a reference to another line from the Zero Wing intro, "Move zig. For great justice.") to improve his fighting abilities. In Guild Wars: Nightfall, there is a skill called "Make Your Time!" (a quotation of the line "You have no chance to survive make your time" from the Zero Wing introduction).

AYB is often cited as an example of a meme—a self-propagating thought, idea, or message—because of its broad, rapid spread across the Internet and around the world. It has also been recognized as a snowclone, wherein a familiar phrase is modified by substituting new words into the phrase (for example, "All your bug are belong to me" as used on Wikipedia's MediaZilla main page and "All your blog are belong to us" as used by me).

The Downfall Of A Tyrant

Al-Fatiha

Saddam Hussein, Ruler of Iraq.
It was a Public Holiday around the world and that day was chosen to be the day Saddam Hussein was to be executed. He was sentenced to be hanged till death.

There were mixed reactions about his execution. I too feel that if only his day of execution be delayed after the Days of Tashriq, the muslim world would not be so divided.

Judges, though making judgement about certain executions, should consider emotions and repercussions that will lead to World events.

Yes, Saddam must die but must he die on that very particular day? Will prolonging Saddam's execution make one a lesser judge? A smart judge would weigh the pros and cons of the execution, be more judgemental and make decisions without outside interferences.

Why rush? Was he trying to hide something? They say that dead men tell no tales. What was he afraid of?

There is no Fear but Fear of Allah.

Anyway, soon after Saddam was hanged, the web was busy with the traffic directed to searching for videos of Saddam's execution.

I have seen all kinds of execution on television and movies but these are all acting. Never have I seen a REAL execution takes place and this is the first time I see a prominent figure being executed.

Ya Allah! Na'uzubillahi Min Zalik!
Ameen.

Yikes!!!

I've been thinking and thinking whether to upgrade my blog template. I was tempted to do it when it was in it's beta state but I was uncertain.

So ... when Blogger announced that the upgrade is no longer in it's BETA state (I read that it is now safe to upgrade) ... look what my itchy fingers did!

I upgraded and lost my templates!

THIS BLOG IS UNDER RECONSTRUCTION!!!
